We have a strong interest in motorsport, and participate in Scottish Hillclimb and Sprinting events and championships. We originally campaigned an Alfa Romeo 75 3 litre in the “road car” classes, which has been highly entertaining!

The car was developed with the emphasis on handling, with uprated roll bars, stiffer and lower rear springs, rose - jointed Watts linkages, spherical - jointed radius arms, all designed by ourselves; adjustable shocks and uprated brakes with Goodridge hoses were also fitted, and so on.

The aim was to produce a true “clubmans’ racer” which could be driven through the week and then raced at weekends, and it turned out to be exactly that; it’s so much fun that we have kept it, and can provide replicas of all the parts developed for it.

 

We currently campaign a Stuart Taylor modified sports car, powered by a Honda Fireblade engine. Good power, low weight, fast, and great fun. Of course the car provides lots of scope for our engineering skills, and performs very well; if only the driver could keep up!

Services.

 

We  provide a bespoke engineering service to the clubman competitor, and can design and manufacture your ideas. We’re happy to provide technical advice, and can also provide stress and failure analysis services, and redesign where required.

 

We also provide these services for classic and vintage cars and motorcycles, whether competition vehicles or not.
